Summer Science Series #2 at the Los Feliz Branch Library

Nurit Katz, Co-Director for the LA Raptor Study, urban ecologist and educator at UCLA, will share stories of amazing raptor rescues. Nurit is Chief Sustainability Officer for UCLA.

In addition to wearing multiple hats, Nurit has been instrumental in providing transportation to and from the Ojai Raptor Center for injured raptors of all sorts. One of the many stories surrounding a rescue and eventual release can be accessed here.
