Thousands of community members across the LA region will come together and celebrate our majestic urban wildlife and the remarkable ecosystems that sustain wildlife, thriving in the heart of LA’s bustling metropolis. And please note: this event is always free and open to the public. There will be multiple environmental organizations represented at this celebration and we hope everyone will attend and make sure you stop in at Friends of Griffith Park’s booth and check out what our volunteers are up to! Don’t forget to bring the kids, and remind all your neighbors.
Once again, NWF’s Urban Wildlife Week (National Wildlife Federation) will culminate with the annual P-22 Day Festival – a celebration of the famous Hollywood cougar who catalyzed the movement to construct more wildlife crossings, not just in California, but across the country.
